Green tea extract has many benefits in skincare products. It is rich in tea polyphenols and other components with strong antioxidant properties, which can eliminate free radicals and delay skin aging. It can also regulate oil secretion, make oily skin refreshing, reduce pore blockage and acne formation. Simultaneously possessing anti-inflammatory properties, it can soothe skin inflammation and alleviate discomfort such as redness and swelling. It can also inhibit tyrosinase activity, hinder melanin formation, and have a whitening and spot lightening effect. In addition, it has certain antibacterial properties, which can prevent skin problems caused by bacterial infections, and indirectly enhance the skin's moisturizing ability, keeping the skin in a hydrated state.
1. Antioxidant:
The tea polyphenols in green tea extract are powerful antioxidants that can capture and neutralize free radicals in the skin. Free radicals can cause oxidative damage to skin cells, accelerate skin aging, and lead to wrinkles, sagging, and other phenomena. In green tea extract moisturizing face cream, oil control toner and balance lotion, green tea extract can effectively slow down the oxidation process, protect skin cells from damage, delay skin aging, and keep skin younger.
2. Moisturizing:
Although green tea extract itself does not directly provide a large amount of moisture like sodium hyaluronate, it can indirectly enhance the skin's moisturizing ability by regulating its physiological functions. In the moisturizing face cream, it works together with glycerin, sodium hyaluronate and other moisturizing ingredients to help maintain the moisture content of the skin, prevent moisture loss of dry skin, and keep the skin moist and soft.
3. Oil control:
For oily skin, green tea extract can regulate the secretion function of sebaceous glands. In oil control toner, it can inhibit excessive sebum secretion from sebaceous glands, reduce the oily surface of the skin, maintain a refreshing feeling of the skin, and help prevent problems such as clogged pores and acne caused by excessive oil secretion.
4. Anti inflammatory and Soothing:
Green tea extract contains components such as catechins, which have certain anti-inflammatory effects. In the oil control toner and balance lotion, green tea extract can reduce the inflammatory reaction, alleviate skin discomfort and promote skin repair for the skin inflammation prone to oily and mixed skin, such as redness, swelling and tingling caused by acne.
5. Whitening and lightening spots:
It can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and reduce the production of melanin. Long term use of products containing green tea extract in various skincare products can help to even out skin tone, reduce the formation of pigmentation, brighten skin tone, and make the skin fairer and more transparent.
6. Antibacterial:
Green tea extract has inhibitory effects on some bacteria that cause skin problems. In skincare products, it can help prevent and improve skin problems caused by bacterial infections, such as acne, pimples, etc., and maintain the health of the skin.
